Mostly Araucana. They produce a lovely array of pastel colored eggs. Very unique. We also have Sapphire Jems, Buff Orpingtons, and Oliver Eggers to name just a few. Our flock has dwindled but we are bringing them back, so stayed tuned! This breed of duck was introduced in America in the early 1900’s and is a cross between the Mallard, Rouen and Runner ducks. They are Khaki in color and their egg production is outstanding! Campbells are a very gentle, passive and friendly breed which makes them a nice breed for young families and children to raise. Duck eggs contain more protein, more vitamins, minerals and lots of Omega-3’s. Also Duck eggs contain more albumen, which gives them more structure, thus creating very light, fluffy, and rich baked goods with a higher lift than those made with chicken eggs.
